Give once or monthly

Your gift reaches the people and schools most in need

The Foundation is small, focused and careful with the money entrusted to it. We are trustee-led, with a lean operating model and close relationships with the schools, monasteries and communities we support.

That means your gift is directed towards practical needs: scholarships, boarding provision, classroom equipment, formation, school partnerships and projects that help Benedictine education flourish.

A regular gift lets us commit to projects that run longer than a year, and lets schools plan with some certainty.

What your gift does

£100 could help provide books, classroom materials, retreat resources or essential equipment for a school community.

£500 could help a pupil take part in a pilgrimage, retreat, exchange or formative school experience that would otherwise be out of reach.

£1,000 could fund one year of scholarship support for a student whose circumstances make university more difficult.

£2,500 could support a mentorship, chaplaincy or formation programme rooted in Benedictine values.

£5,000 could help equip a classroom, laboratory, library or training room with the tools students need to learn properly.

£10,000 could make a major contribution towards boarding provision, clean water, a chapel, a school partnership, or a larger project that opens access to education.

Prefer to give to something specific?

Some donors want their gift to go wherever the need is greatest. Others feel called to support a particular kind of work: scholarships, girls’ education, science teaching, nursing and healthcare training, formation, the Douai Legacy Fund, a particular country, or a school community they know.

The Foundation can hold both kinds of generosity: gifts to the general fund, and restricted or named funds built around a purpose you care about.
